Winnie Kuo
I'm currently a Principal Technical Product Manager at Amazon, shifting into an IC role for the third time in my 15 year career. I believe that strong leaders are built upon solid skills as a foundation - and there's no better way than to be on the ground for it.
Prior to my current role, I was a manager of manager for a team of 16 that delivered actionable insights using predictive and prescriptive analytics. Deep down, I like to solve problems - and spent five years at Accenture as a business intelligence & technology integration consultant.
While I'm mainly left-brained, the thick of parenthood and work have taught me that I have much to learn about people, their motivations, and my own self-awareness of impact on others.
You'll find me curious about:
Applying leadership and management principles into parenting, and vice versa of incorporating modern parenting philosophies to mentor and coach others.
Frameworks and techniques for learning, leading, and parenting (and ways to visualize these simply).
New technologies and how they create positive impact.
